Q: Can you hold a place before I apply?
A: The only way to reserve a property is to submit a completed application and provide a separate check or money order for a “Holding Deposit” which is equal to one month’s rent. The property may be held during the application process only, and then a move-in date must be established. -
Q: You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?
A: Our application process is very easy. Your first step is to contact our office. We will discuss your options and view properties. When you select one of our great rental homes, we will walk you through the application process. -
Q: Do I pay first month’s rent and last month’s rent with my Security Deposit?
A: You pay your first month’s rent, your Security Deposit, pet deposits and a non-refundable cleaning fee when you sign your lease. The Security Deposit is typically equal to one month’s rent. -
Q: Is the Security Deposit refundable?
A: Security Deposits may be refunded to tenants who have fulfilled all of the conditions in their lease, and have left the home in the same condition as when they moved in. Lakeside Property Rentals, LLC provides each tenant with a detailed move-out guide when they notify us they will be vacating the home. -
Q: How do you approve tenants?
A: All prospective tenants must meet specific criteria for approval. We use credit, background and rent history checks to assist us in the approval process. You may discuss any special circumstances with us when you apply. Call today to schedule a showing at one of our rental homes, and we will go over the application process in detail with you. -
Q: How do I pay rent?
A: Residents can make payments in a few different ways.- Payment can be completed online! Simply log into your Tenant Portal, select Make Payment, and enter the necessary information.
- Payment may also be mailed to: Lakeside Property Rentals, 100 Chota Center, Loudon, TN 37774.
- Payment can be brought into the office at 100 Chota Center, Loudon, TN 37774 during business hours. We are open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.

Q: Are pets allowed?
A: Each property has a different pet policy based on the homeowner’s preferences. The pet policy for each property can be found by viewing the details for our Homes for Rent. Please note that Lakeside Property Rentals, LLC fully complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act. -
Q: How do I submit a maintenance request?
A: For non-emergency maintenance, please submit a maintenance request through your Tenant Portal. All maintenance issues are different, we ask that you use your best judgment in assessing whether the situation is an emergency or not.
If you experience a maintenance emergency, we are here for you! Call our office at 865.408.3100. If it is after hours, our voicemail system will pick up and give you an emergency number to call. -
Q: My lease expiration is coming up and I want to move out. What do I do?
A: We require a written Notice-To-Vacate 30 days prior to the end of your original lease period. You will find that form in your Tenant Portal. After receiving your notice we will send you a Move-Out packet containing information for vacating your rental home.
